# Open-Source vs Exclusive Skills

**Short answer:** [questflowai/investorskills](https://github.com/questflowai/investorskills) is the free public layer — portable judgment systems you can run in Questflow or any agent that reads `SKILL.md`. Questflow exclusive skills are closed-source, labeled from real fund-manager trades (what they watched, why they entered, how they sized, what would invalidate). Public skills are for study and agent workflows. Exclusives are execution-grade distillation.

## The split

| | Open-source | Exclusive |
| ------ | ------------------------------------------ | ---------------------------- |
| Where | GitHub, MIT | Questflow paid |
| Source | Public letters, process, documented styles | Labeled live trades |
| Use | Codex / Claude / Cursor / Questflow | Questflow product |
| Job | Teach the harness a known system | Scale a living manager’s DNA |

Both are Skills in the same four-pillar harness. Exclusive does not replace open-source; it sits on top when you need trade-labeled judgment.
